Guillem Alonso

He began his guitar studies with Antònia Montserrat and continued them at the Escola d’Arts Musicals Luthier under the guidance of Xavier Coll.

In 1996, he completed his intermediate-level studies in classical guitar with a grade of “Excellent” at the Bruch Municipal Conservatory in Barcelona.

In 2002, he earned his Advanced Guitar Teaching Degree at the Liceo Conservatory of Music, also with a grade of Excellent.

He has participated in various international advanced training courses and master classes with maestros David Russell, Manuel Barrueco, José Tomás, Aniello Desiderio, and Fernando Rodríguez, among others.

He has performed in prestigious concert halls such as: the Eduard Toldrà Auditorium, the Caixa de Terrassa Auditorium, the Hivernacle (as part of the “Clàssica als Parcs” series), and the Casal del Metge…

Since 1995, he has regularly collaborated with flamenco groups and singer-songwriters. He is currently a member of singer Rosa Zaragoza’s musical group, with whom he has recently performed in Vienna, Turkey, and Israel.

He currently combines his work as a teacher at the Parets Municipal School of Music with his concert performances.
